My name is Brett Steele, and I’m a full-time REALTOR® and residential sales specialist with RE/MAX. I’ve been licensed since 2017, but my connection to Calgary goes back much further. I’m a proud third-generation Calgarian, born and raised right here in the city. Calgary has changed a lot over the years, and I’ve had the opportunity to watch neighbourhoods grow, evolve and become home to new generations of families. From established communities like Varsity, Scenic Acres and Silver Springs to newer communities such as Rockland Park, and Northwest Calgary favourites including Tuscany, Rocky Ridge and Royal Oak, I’m fortunate to have built relationships and resources throughout many areas of the city.
Real Estate Experience With a Construction Background
Before real estate, I spent 10 years working in residential construction.
That experience continues to be one of the things that makes me different as a real estate agent. Buying a home is about much more than finding a house with the right number of bedrooms. Understanding how homes are built, what goes into renovations and improvements, and what to look for when evaluating a property can be incredibly valuable when you’re making one of the biggest decisions of your life.
My construction background also gives me a practical perspective when helping clients look at a property, not just how it looks today, but what it could become tomorrow.

Today’s real estate experience is very different from what it was even a generation ago. Northwest Calgary has always been an area that interests me because of the variety of communities and lifestyles you can find here.
You can explore established neighbourhoods such as Varsity, Scenic Acres and Silver Springs, or look toward communities such as Tuscany, Rocky Ridge, Royal Oak and Rockland Park. Each community has its own personality, amenities, parks, pathways, schools, businesses and sense of community.
That’s one of my favourite things about working in Calgary real estate: helping people discover not only the right house, but the right neighbourhood. And sometimes the best conversations about real estate don’t happen in an office at all. They happen over coffee.
